Personal Project - 2023

A short side project I made in my spare time. I've been interested in approaching automotive rendering for the last few months, as I feel the opportunity to work with such a beautiful subject is incredibly rewarding!

Process

Initially, I aimed for a neutral look, but my love for vibrant aesthetics pulled me back. These frames were early versions before I settled on a direction. Eventually, I chose a grungy backdrop to contrast the elegant BMW, experimenting with black and white for realism.

In the final phase, I reintroduced color to match the engagement of black and white. I explored caustics, focal length, and improved compositions.
