Growth is fickle, man, you can't achieve it without some suffering. Ironically, things feel worse when they're stagnant, so I think happiness comes from accepting pain. In that regard, flowers amaze me. They wear their feelings on their sleeves and don't hide their true selves from sight. During quarantine in 2020, there was this beautiful patch of Hibiscus outside my apartment. I was so moved by it.
